    Larry Mize Shares the Gospel

Last night, I went to Wallace Memorial Baptist Church in Knoxville to hear Larry Mize give his testimony about his experience in the PGA and his relationship with Christ.

He did not present himself as a high-and-mighty success story but was very down to earth. His authenticity was refreshing. He briefly told his life story--weaving the themes of Christ, family, and golf together in one presentation.

He said that Christ was his source of satisfaction, security, and significance.

At one point, he mentioned that we (Christians) are all in the land of the dying going to the land of the living--not the other way around. I liked that.

The evening was a good time of bar-b-que, fellowship, and and encouraging Gospel presentation.
